14 Days 13 Nights Nature Lovers in Thailand

Day 1: arrive at Bangkok – dinner on traditional barge.
Arrive at Bangkok international airport. Meet our guide and private transfer to your hotel. Check in and free time at leisure.
In the evening, meet our guide and private transfer to enjoy dinner on Loy Nava Cruise.

Day 2: exploring floating market by bike.
Starting in Bangkok we drive south to start our bicycle exploration of the Mae Klong Delta area at Klong Lad Pli Floating market. Walking through Klong Lad Pli gives us a chance to see wooden houses perched on the edge of the canal including one that once was an opium den. We arrive at Damneon Saduak floating market, the biggest and most colourful in Thailand and a must for any visitor. Purchase just about anything from the vast array of “shops” on the river.
After discovering the sights and sounds of the floating market, we embark on a long tail boat and cruise through a maze of canals cutting through local villages and various plantations. This eye-opening boat ride offers a glimpse of Thailand of old where local people are going about their daily life with the canal as the focal point.
Hop off a long tail boat and get on our saddles. Start a short ride to Wat Bang Kae Noi, the temple is famous for its teakwood carving. The magnificent teakwood interior of the Ubosot, coronation room, is delicately carved to portray the story of Lord Buddha. Our ride takes us further into coconut plantations and fruit orchards along quiet back roads.
We stop to visit an Unseen Thailand at Wat Bang Kung, a quirky temple held up by a huge banyan tree. After lunch at a riverside restaurant we continue cycling on picturesque trails towards Amphawa floating market. After some refreshments, explore a temple complex and a local market before starting our journey back to Bangkok to beat rush hour.

Day 3: Bangkok – Ayutthaya.
08.00 Travel from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, a former capital of Thailand. Change your transportation to an ecofriendly bike tour to explore the marvelous of Ayutthaya Historical Park, featured as a UNESCO list of World Heritage sites since 1991. Continue visiting the Elephant Kraal Pavilion and enjoy a delicious Thai lunch onboard, a unique teak wood boat, while you cruise along the river. In the afternoon and the evening join the regular program to take a bike or walk to local community to experience the life of local people. Afterward, it is time for a delicious dinner onboard. Accommodation in comfortable private air-conditioned twin cabins, each with 2-berths.

Day 4: Ayutthaya – Bangkok.
Rise early to join activities like preparing some traditional Thai Sweets – “Khanom” or offering food to the Monks on their morning alms round. After breakfast continue with the bike to explore another village to learn what they do as home industrial. Lunch will be serve onboard. End of the program and transfer back to Bangkok late in the afternoon.

Day 5: Bangkok – Chiang Mai.
Breakfast at hotel and jump on our tuk tuk to the Grand Palace. Take a trip back in time when you visit the Grand Palace Complex, once the home of the King of Siam. Built in 1782, the palace also served as the Royal Court and administrative seat of government until the early 1900s. Still very much the spiritual centre of the nation, the luxurious former royal residence is used regularly for various ceremonies throughout the year.
Continuing our spiritual quest, we will next encounter Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the revered Emerald Buddha. Your local guide will lead you through the grounds of the palace, offering a fascinating insight into this majestic place and its spiritual significance. A short walk from here, you can marvel at the magnificent Wat Po temple, the country’s first university and the centre of Buddhism in Thailand. Founded in the 17th century, Wat Po is also the oldest Buddhist temple in Bangkok and remains today as a learning centre for traditional Thai massage and medicines.
Back to your hotel. After that private transfer with guide to Bangkok Airport and fly to Chiang Mai.

Evening, stimulate your sense and taste buds at this traditional khantoke dinner and dance extravaganza. Khantoke is the name of a low dining table but has come to also mean this traditional northern Thai style of eating that dates back to the Lanna kingdom (13th to 18th centuries). Take off your shoes; settle onto a floor mat and, together with your dining companions, you will sample a vast variety of northern dishes.

Day 6: Chiang Mai – waterfall – Karen hilltribe village
09h00: depart from the hotel by truck. On route stop at Mae Malai local market to purchase some food and vegetables needed during the trek.
10h00: stop at Mok Fah Waterfall for swimming and relaxation.
11h00: transfer by truck to Baan Pang Lun for a local lunch.
13h00: drive about half an hour along the wildly road to Huay Nam Dung National Park. Spend another 2 hours to trek from here to Baan Mae Jok, Karen village.
16h00: arrive and explore around the village chitchatting with local people as well as joining local activities.
18h00: dinner and overnight at the village.

Day 7: Karen hilltribe village – elephant ride.
08h00: breakfast at the village.
09h00: trek about 3 – 4 hours to the Elephant camp which’s quite impressive because you will mostly trek under the shady of green trees.
12h00: lunch break at the camp where the guide will show his cooking skill by preparing lunch for the group. Then, take time after lunch hanging around observing natural behavior of Elephants.
14h00: enjoy an Elephant ride through beautiful lush jungle about 45 minutes to the Karen village, Bann Pang Khao Laam.
16h00: dinner and overnight at the village. There’s usually a camp fire with some entertainment (Jokes – Games – Funny Stories) lead by the guide after dinner.

Day 8: Karen hilltribe village – bamboo raft – Chiang Mai.
08h00: breakfast at the village.
08300: take a very smooth bamboo rafting along the Mae Tang River for 1½ – 2 hours to Lahu hill tribe village at Baan Pong Ngan. Shortly break to view around visiting Lahu people and village.
11h00: continue Exciting on the bamboo raft passing many rapids down to Shan village for 2 hours.
13h00: lunch at Shan village.
14h30: transfer back to Chiang Mai by local truck.
17h30: arrive and transfer to your hotel in Chiang Mai.

Day 9: Chiang Mai – fly to Koh Samui.
Breakfast at hotel and free time at leisure. Private transfer with guide from your hotel to Chiang Mai Airport and fly to Koh Samui. Upon arrival, meet our guide and private transfer to your hotel on Koh Samui. Check in and free time at leisure.

Day 10: Angthong marine national park
This group of islands, 250 sq.kms., is located 45 kms north-west from Koh Samui. It takes about 1 hour by speedboat. Visitors will be enchanting wonderland composed of bulbous green isles, clear blue lagoons, mysterious caves and strange shapes of rock formations.
The 2nd National Park created in Thailand, which comprises some 40 islands covering area of 250 sq.kms. Most islands comprise limestone masses, reaching heights up to 450 meters, has blanketed by 4 difference types of forest such as Dry Evergreen Forest, Beach Forest, Limestone Forest and Mangrove Forest. There are many strange rock formations brought above by erosion of the earth and one island has a mysterious sink hole, completely enclosed by walls of sheer rock, on its center.

In the morning transfer to the pier, board the speed boat to Angthong National Marine Park. You will arrive at Koh Wao or Koh Tai Plow for snorkeling, a nice place for fish and wonderful coral reefs. Then we do sightseeing around the National Marine Park. Climb up the steps to see the wonderful “ Emerald Lake “ known as Talay Nai, surrounded by the mountain.
Buffet lunch at The National Marine Park. Afternoon, relaxing on the beach, swimming or climbing up to the mountain’s top to see the fantastic panoramic view of Angthong Marine Park . 15:00pm cruise back to Koh Samui and transfer to your hotel.
Day 11: Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan by speed boat

A diving and snorkeling paradise, 70 km further north of Samui located in the clearest and best under water visibility in the Gulf of Thailand. It’s a home of various coral species where you can find abundant of tropical marine life, giant clams, and colorful fish that you can feed them with bread by your hand.
Starting early morning, the boat departs the pier to Koh Nang Yuan. Koh Nang yuan is a group of three islands in the northwest of Koh Tao. The pretty little islands are interconnected by a long sandy beach. The journey takes about 1.30 Hrs. Upon arrival, you can climb up the mountain to the viewpoint of Nang Yuan – 90 meters – panoramic view or just swimming, relaxing and sunbathing.
Lunch at restaurant on Koh Tao. After lunch visit beautiful snorkeling points around Koh Tao. Explore the beauty of the underwater world with its colorful marine life amongst soft and hard corals.
15:00pm, we will return to Koh Samui .Arrive the pier at 16:30pm.

Day 12: Koh Samui – Koh Phagnan
Breakfast at hotel. Meet our guide and private transfer to Lompraya pier. And take a join catamaran speed boat to Koh Phagnan. Arrive at Thongsala pier, Koh Phagnan, transfer by resort to your resort on Koh Phagnan. Check in and free time at leisure.

Day 13: Koh Phagnan – free day at leisure
Breakfast at hotel and free time at leisure.

Day 14: Koh Phagnan – Koh Samui – Bangkok – departure
Breakfast at hotel and free time at leisure. Transfer by resort to Thongsala pier, Koh Phagnan. Then take a join catamaran speed boat back to Koh Samui. Upon arrival, meet our guide and private transfer to Koh Samui Airport. Fly to Bangkok and connect flight to your next destination.
