9 Days 8 Nights Highlight of Thailand

Day 1: arrival Bangkok.

Upon arrival, meet our guide and private transfer with guide to hotel. Check in and free time at leisure.

Day 2 : discover Bangkok.

Discover Bangkok by local transportation to explore the most beautiful temples in Bangkok: Wat Pho, Wat Prakeow, the Grand Palace. Then explore canals in Bangkok and Wat Arun temple.

Day 3 : explore the floating market and local life by bicycle.

Seventy kilometers south-west of Bangkok the Mae Klong River spreads into a sprawling delta before reaching the Gulf of Thailand. This low-lying land is extremely fertile and over hundreds of years the Thai people have constructed an extensive network of canals to aid irrigation and navigation. The local way-of life has remained traditional, agricultural and revolves around the colourful floating markets where the fruits of the surrounding orchards are traded.

Day 4 : Bangkok – Ayutthaya 

Travel from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, a former capital of Thailand. Change your transportation to an ecofriendly bike tour to explore the marvelous of Ayutthaya Historical Park, featured as a UNESCO list of World Heritage sites since 1991. Continue visiting the Elephant Kraal Pavilion and enjoy a delicious Thai lunch onboard, a unique teak wood boat, while you cruise along the river.  In the afternoon and the evening join the regular program to take a bike or walk to local community to experience the life of local people. Afterward, it is time for a delicious dinner onboard. Accommodation in comfortable private air-conditioned twin cabins, each with 2-berths.

Day 5 : Ayutthaya – Bangkok.

Rise early to join activities like preparing some traditional Thai Sweets – “Khanom” or offering food to the Monks on their morning alms round. After breakfast continue with the bike to explore another village to learn
what they do as home industrial. Lunch will be serve onboard. End of the program and transfer back to Bangkok late in the afternoon.

Day 6: Bangkok fly to Chiang Mai.

Fly to Chiang Mai and in the afternoon visit Doi Suthep temple. A visit here is an absolute must for first-time visitors, and part of the allure is in the journey getting here. In the evening, get a taste of what makes northern Thai food distinctive and famous even among Thailand’s iconic cuisine. Tonight’s outing is your chance to experience a unique and rather delicious Thai custom, the ‘Khantoke’ dinner.

Day 7: Thai cooking class.

Escape from the bustling city for a day. Come learn how to prepare and cook a Thai meal while enjoying the relaxing non-touristy countryside. You will be able to see many different kinds of organic herbs, vegetables and fruits. You will be given the opportunity to pick some of the fresh ingredients that you will use while preparing your favorite dishes in one of our spacious well equipped kitchens. Finally, enjoy eating your meal on the terrace overlooking the fishpond where you will have a splendid view of the entire farm as well as the lush nearby mountains.

Day 8 : one full day trip with elephant

You will change into traditional northern style clothes and we will pay respect to Ganesha, the Elephant Buddha. You will meet the elephants and practice using commands to ride and control the elephants. Then, we will take your elephants for a ride around the forest. We will have lunch in the forest. All leftovers can go to the elephant so nothing is wasted, and no trash is left behind!

Day 9 : Chiang Mai – departure

Breakfast at hotel. Free time at leisure until private transfer with guide from your hotel to Chiang Mai Airport. Fly to your next destination.
